Devin Dore

Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and finding the right therapist can feel just as overwhelming. My goal is to create a space where you feel genuinely heard, accepted, and supported without fear of judgment. I believe that meaningful change begins with a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, authenticity, and collaboration. I enjoy working with adolescents, college students, young adults, and families who may be navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, behavioral concerns, family conflict, or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. Whether you're facing challenges at school, struggling in relationships, feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, or simply trying to better understand yourself, we'll work together to identify practical steps toward the life you want. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs. I primarily draw from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Person-Centered Therapy. Rather than focusing solely on what's wrong, I also help clients recognize their strengths, build on what is already working, and develop practical tools they can use outside of our sessions. At the same time, I believe it's important to make space for your experiences, emotions, and personal story, because every person's journey is unique. As a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, I am passionate about helping clients build resilience, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and develop confidence in themselves. Whether we're working through anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, or family concerns, my hope is that you'll leave each session feeling understood, supported, and equipped with meaningful strategies to move forward. If you're considering therapy, I'd be honored to be part of your journey.
